26 year old Rainbow

I bought my Rainbow in 1983. Other than the time I had it cleaned and repaired after my daughter-in-law sucked up drywall dust and forgot to empty the water for several days, this vacuum has performed wonderfully.

I have had a Kirby, 3 Hoovers, Phantom, Dirt Devil, you name it. They all either fell apart or were constantly needing repairs.

If the Rainbow were not so pricey, I would buy the newest model. I will keep my fingers crossed that my 1983, 26 year old Rainbow will give me another 20 years.
