For those of you who are plagued with back problems, the Hoover is an excellent choice as it doesn’t strain your back while you vacuum your home.
Further, the Air WindTunnel’s low-profile design allows for cleaning under furniture without needing to move it or crouch into any awkward positions.
Hoover’s WindTunnel technology allows for effective vacuuming without blowing the dirt about, while it’s powerful suction pulls out even the most adamant debris and pet dander.
The Air also lists HEPA filtration and Hoover’s Level 3 AllergenBlock Technology in its asset column. A convenient 30 foot long power cord, bottom-release dirt cup, and telescopic handle are additional features that consumers appreciate.
This model has garnered an impressive 4.2 star rating from Amazon; the rating is the average of over 1200 reviews. Consumers are very pleased with this machine’s versatility in handling all household terrain, from hard floors to carpet to area rugs. The Hoover Air is just slightly less-beloved than the first place Shark Navigator, but it is no doubt a worthy runner up in the under $250 category.

The Dyson DC25 vacuum cleaner has a dust-free exhaust. The Dyson Ball model never loses suction, and it doesn’t kick out dust after it sucks it up. The vacuum filters the dust in a cyclonic chamber, and then runs this air through the washable HEPA filters. The result is incredibly clean air after vacuuming.
Like other Dyson models, the ball technology adds to the maneuverability of the machine. One area in which the DC25 excels in particular is its ability to get a great edge clean.
