Bissell Healthy Home cleaner

I purchased the Bissell Healthy Home vacuum cleaner after comparing the specs of the other models in the store. I took it home, put it together, which was simple; just screw in one screw!
The Healthy Home vacuum was heavy and not self propelled at all, which I never really appreciated in my previous vacuums until now!
The power button is 'conveniently' located on the top of the handle, which was a smart thought, except that every time I pushed it forward, (which I had to use two hands because it's so heavy) I would hit the button numerous times and it would turn off.
I vacuumed my entire living room and kept looking at the brush through the see-through window at the top and noticed it would only move when I pushed the vacuum. I went to vacuum the hall and yet again had pushed the power button, and then saw the 'brush' button!!
You have to push a button to turn the brush on! Why? I have no idea. Bissell Healthy Home vacuums already have the safety feature that the brush will not rotate unless its in a reclined position so why the button?
I figured I would use it a couple more times and give it a chance, since it did pick up more stuff than my other Bissell bagless vacuum, until I went to clean my carpets. My new carpet cleaner picked up so much dirt and hair it was insane.
There was no way I was going to pay $250 for a vacuum that was heavy, hard to push, had an inconveniently located button that I was always accidentally pushing, and apparently didn't suck worth a darn. So back to Target it went!
I will be doing more research online and take the time before I purchase my next vacuum that's for sure!
