Cordless Backpack Vacuum Cleaners Best For Commercial Use
The typical cordless backpack vacuum is still not ready for home use.
The batteries roughly double the weight compared to corded backpack vacuums, the price is still at least several hundred dollars and most homes have plenty of wall sockets anyway.
This means the typical system is a backpack commercial vacuum cleaner, as companies can have different needs.
Office buildings with many elevators, for instance, can benefit from cordless backpack vacuums as the time saved in moving from elevator to elevator and the removal of the cord to trip over, not to mention blocking the elevator so the doors won’t close on the cord, will all add up over time.
Airports, hotels, hospitals and even schools have rows of rooms and areas to clean, rewarding systems that allow a worker to quickly move from one to another, and with many hard to reach areas that make conventional vacuums less effective.
A typical cordless backpack vacuum is around twenty pounds with the price starting around $400 and going up from there to well over a thousand. They allow a user to rapidly move from area to area without worrying about a reeling in the cord and connecting to a new plug.
This is most important when dealing with a large setting such as an office building or other commercial property with many small areas to clean.
The primary users of cordless backpack vacuums are professional cleaners with small areas to clean spread over a large amount of space. This would include elevators, hotel rooms, food service areas, stairs, aisles and more.
Generally the main focus of a backpack vacuum cleaner will be small and hard to reach areas, relying on more conventional or lighter corded backpack vacuums for larger areas.
