DC 16 HANDHELD

I like the Dyson DC 16 handheld vacuum except for the very short battery life. For the cost of the unit, it is a little steep!

I bought my DC16 on Craigs list, but still I only get at max. a 5 minute charge. If the charge lasted longer, this would be the best handheld on the market.

I also have an older Dyson canister that I love, except for the carpet attachments, mine is a suction driven head rather than a motor driven as the newer ones now do.

I guess that every item you buy has some kind of quirkiness to it.

Bought the Dyson root six battery operated vac and LOVE the vacuum! Sure wish it had more than six minutes of power however! We bought it to use while traveling in our camper van.

DC16 junk

Purchased 7 as gifts (DC16) they are all junk and have the same problem. You must play with the trigger to try and keep them running. Dyson suggested an $80.00 replacement body to resolve the problem HAHA

Dyson DC-16 is perfect for quick pick ups

I use this vacuum a dozen times every day. It is absolutely perfect for picking up pet hair, lint, dirt, and other quick pick ups during the day. It is mounted in my kitchen so that it is handy. I definitely recommend it.

DC 16 Animal Hand Held

The Dyson DC 16 Animal Hand Held Only runs for about 2 minutes (since new) then the battery goes dead. It is very difficult to get a new replacement battery. Amazon is currently out of stock with no estimated arrival time.

One site lists it for $74.00! That's only 20 bucks less then I paid for the entire machine! Not a happy customer, will probably throw this thing away.
