DC07

Although the Dyson DC07 vacuum cleaner looks good and comes in a variety of nice colours, it has one or two engineering faults.

Mainly, there are far too many joints and gaskets which allow air to escape and, thus lose suction so the majority of your time will be spent emptying the dust cylinder as once there is about an inch of debris, it will no longer suck.

If the DC07 is not emptied and the filters removed and washed, the motor will cut out and you will have to wait for about an hour until it cools and resets itself.

You should have a spare set of filters as a standby as it will take a day for them to dry.
Not all surfaces are suitable for the Dyson DC07 vacuum to clean.

For example: a solid floor (such as vinyl) or one covered with a softer material – such as a carpet – will prove difficult to clean also.

There are some things you may wish to remove from your floor which will prove impossible.

Among them are: small pieces of paper, dust, pieces of cotton, hair, anything heavier than a sweetpaper or larger than a peanut.
