Dirt Devil Swivel Glide

by Ron
(Pub, Co)

One repair under warranty. Then my Dirt Devil Swivel Glide vacuum cleaner was OK for 4 or 5 years.

It seemed to use belts up pretty quick for a while then OK to the end, when it would not latch the handle up.

Then the handle broke where it attaches. I did like the circuit breaker feature.

That was my second Dirt Devil but eventually they both died.

Wish I could find a cleaner as durable as an old Hoover upright.

Thanks, Ron.

There are actually a few models called Dirt Devil Swivel Glide and they have different numbers like 086935SV, 086340, etc.

I've checked a few comments and reviews of the Swivel Glide on Amazon.com and they range from 1 to 5 stars which is very interesting.

It looks like you either love or hate this vacuum.

This Dirt Devil models do have quite a few settings and it's possible to select the wrong ones and thus not use the Swivel Glide to its potential.

It would be interesting to see if anyone else comments on your review, Ron.
