Dyson Animal DC07

We've had our Dyson Animal DC07 vacuum cleaner for about 3 years and we're happy with it.

It picks up all the debris and cat hair in our apartment effortlessly (we live in a small place though - 2 bedrooms) and we're always surprised by how much dust and dirt is in our carpets, even though we vacuum regularly.

It's very easy to clean, which is what we love best about it. We hear customer support is great, though we've never had to use it.

The only problem we experience with our Dyson Animal DC07 is that sometimes it seems to overheat and shuts itself down in the middle of a job -- if we wait about 10-15 minutes, we can use it to finish vacuuming, but we've found the reason it overheats and shuts down is because the filter needs to be cleaned, and as soon as we clean it, it's fine for months.

I've read a few negative reviews here of Dyson, so it makes me wonder if their worksmanship is inconsistant...?

But our machine is great.

Yes, obviously Dyson did many things right otherwise their line of vacuum cleaners wouldn't be so successful.

I am glad to hear some positive reviews of the Dyson DC07 model.
