Dyson Animal Vacuum

We have had our Dyson Animal vacuum for about 3 years at our weekend house. Yes, it has powerful suction but my power head seems to be failing.

Even from the start it seemed like I had to wait a minute for the power head to kick in. It did pick up a lot of the dust our old vacuum left behind.

The attachments constantly come off, I hate not having a retractable power cord, I hate that every time I grab the vacuum to move it while vacuuming, I end up turning it off because the on/off button is at the handle.

It is difficult to use the hose because it is like a spring constantly wanting to retract. From what I have heard from people, men love it and women hate it.

I can't use it for quick couch crumb pickups because you have to completely undo the power cord and wand to use the attachments. Overall, it does have great suction power but it is so difficult to use.
