I bought the Dyson Stowaway vacuum cleaner one month ago and I cannot begin to tell you the wonderful difference in my home.

I have 9 grandchildren (all are here on a regular basis) and two have allergies, two have asthma and allergies and this Dyson DC21 has made a HUGE difference in our home.

I vacuum all the time. We have hardwood floors throughout the house to cut down on allergens and dust mites.

After running the Dyson Stowaway for one month, the amount of "dust" in my home has virtually disappeared and every time I run it, the air smells clean... There's nothing floating around like with my other vacuums.

I absolutely recommend this vacuum!

One of the major selling points for me was there are no bags or belts to replace. I just wish I would have had this product available to me 30 years ago!

My furniture, drapes, under appliances etc. are all clean and fresh and my grandkids are sneeze free in our home. This Dyson DC21 vacuum is wonderful on mattresses as well.

We live in the country, so dirt is a common thing... not anymore. I try to keep my home very clean because of the grandkids.

The Dyson Stowaway vacuum was a source of amusement to all of us the first two weeks we had it.

I thought my house was clean.. we could not believe what this vacuum was picking up!

It is easy to operate and the attachments actually work! Thank you Mr. Dyson!!

I purchased a Dyson canister vacuum cleaner on recommendation. The product itself is great but I find it too heavy and unwieldy. After spending so much on it I feel I have to keep using it but I dread using it because I am totally exhausted after. It does a fantastic job.

I am 67 and very fit but this is a little much. It's too bad they don't have a site where you could trade one model for another. Doing stairs with it is impossible. Years ago I had a COMPAC cleaner and it was fantastic. Lightweight, did a great job and lasted 25 years.

i bought my dyson stow away 3 years ago and it's the best vacuum cleaner i ever had. The suction is just great. However, within a year a had a hole in the hose on the site where you curl the hose around the cart. It 's been very frustrating for me as i had to duct tape it as there is no dyson vaccum cleaner repair store in vancouver bc. that part i am not happy with at all.

The suction is great but I don't find it that convenient to use. The telescoping wand has a large diameter and makes getting into small spots with the crevice tool impossible especially when the tool itself is so short.

It is also too thick to get under a lot of furniture so means having to move more things then I did with my previous vacuum. The hose itself is too stiff and kinks I hope it doesn't end up cracking.

Having mentioned to Dyson when I phoned in to register my guarantee that the original handle was extremely long, I was told there is a different handle which can be extended to your own particular requirements. This was posted to me and I eagerly awaited its arrival. Since then, I have caught my fingers, quite badly on occasion as the handle collapses without warning.

Never again will I buy a Dyson, I said that before when I had the older pull along version but I did like the fact the handle could be lengthened or shortened as one wished. The Dyson Stowaway actually doesn't take up any less room, it is not that good at picking up hairs and it is very heavy and not very maneuverable.

My advice. - Don't buy
