I have had my Rainbow vac for about 11 years now. I tried other vacuums - which only lasted me about 3 years max before I had to replace them.

I run a home preschool / daycare and I vacuum daily - sometimes twice a day. The Rainbow is costly but well worth it. The pick up is the same today as when I first bought it.

The only con is when you are in need of a quick clean up - the rainbow has to have water in the base to work so it takes a few minutes to get that set up. I hope this helps.
