I would NEVER buy another Rainbow system. They are hard to handle, clumsy to use, exhausting to lug around when you move from carpet to hardwood to tile floors.

Attachments are not stored on-board in a way that makes it easy to maneuver the hose when changing directions, and changing attachments is clumsy.

I gave up my Electrolux when I bought this very expensive system, and have regretted it ever since..

I actually was a dealer. The price is way too high for the system. They do a better job than any other system, but the margin does not justify the cost. Some parts are poorly desighned, especially the carpet shampooer cleaner. The belt is located in an almost impossible are to replace. Most attachments are poor t best, and the hoses constantly become clogged. The power unit for carpets constantly needs to be cleaned, making for extra time in serviceing the system. Fresh air I have found to be a myth. As the water gets dirty, so does the air. For the money, a new Dyson is a better choice, or simpilly purchace one used.

This vacuum is awesome and i love it but is it really worth $3500.00? I've seen others on line for more than half the price so am i really getting a good deal?

i am also a dealer. top dealer of the island i am on. and i never not one time had an unhappy customer.. i show all the parts. how to use it. and proper cleaning. the dealer must have not showed you everything..

I am so sorry you are so unhappy with your rainbow. Obviously your dealer did not spend any length of time training you on how to use the machine or you would not feel this way. I could not believe the comment you made about the tools. I find them to be very convenient. I would suggest you go back to your dealer and see if there is something you are not doing quite correctly. I am a dealer and it pains me to see anyone unhappy with such an incredible machine.
