Eureka Bravo 2

by Meg
(Santa Fe, NM)

The Eureka Bravo 2 was the lightest weight (under ten pounds), least expensive (approx. $80), most powerful and reliable (you could see the carpet being lifted and everything was very easy to assemble and unclog), easiest to use (the way you could tell that it was working was how clean the carpets got, as well as the sound of dirt being picked up--and how quickly the sound lessened after going over the spot less than five times, instead of all the fancy lights and whistles that they use now), least dusty, least noisy and prettiest vacuum (with red or green canvas surrounding the bag) I have ever owned.

I don't believe that the company has made these models in about thirteen years, which is a huge shame, because I couldn't keep this vacuum when I moved and I was not able to replace it.

It seems that companies don't want things made very well, but just well enough to where you will buy their products year after year.

Few people make products that last more than five years, yet we short-changed consumers pay more now than ever.

I've been using it for well over 11 years. Finaly traded up for a bagless cyclonic with hepa filters but i couldnt bring myself to get rid of the eureka i had used so long. I abused the hell out of that bravo 2 and it still works great.
