After only 4 uses and being emptied after each use the Eureka Capture Pet Lover HEPA Bagless upright vacuum clogged up at the base of the tube where we had to unscrew the screws that connected the tubing to the base to unclog it. Did not fully suction well after that cleaning of the interior parts.

The power paw that was advertised to clean pet hair off of my furniture with ease wouldn't actually pick up the pet hair from my couch. I ended up having to use a lint brush after my vacuuming.

Worst vacuum EVER! It worked great for about a month and every time I used it after, it got clogged! I spent more of my time unclogging various parts of this machine than I ever spent actually vacuuming! There have to be at least 10 different parts of this vacuum that can get clogged b/c each time it stops sucking up dirt, I find a new clog. It is covered in dust and sprays dust throughout my home, so the "Hepa filter" that is supposed to be so effective is a big disappointment.

I bought a Simplicity about 3 years ago and I must admit I was terribly disappointed with it at first. It took some time to get it to the attention of the owner of Kirkwoods but that was because of an employee, and when he found out he made good my vacuum. Since then I have had not one complaint with my Simplicity. If you would have told me I would be reccomending this vacuum, I would have told you , you were nuts, but that's exactly what I am doing. If you want a good vacuum, that may cost a little more at first but you will have it a long time. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and I never have pet hair on my floors. I use it 2x a day but I have an immaculate house. Go to Kirkwoods in Cold Spring and try one of the Simpicity cleaners and see what you think.
