Eureka Uno

The Eureka Uno vacuum looks like it should be a great cleaner, alas...it is NOT! We have been so disappointed with it from the moment we brought it home.

It doesn't pick up anything from the carpet and I feel my carpet is dirty all the time. I will never buy another Eureka vacuum cleaner again.

I would never recommend the Eureka Uno 2999 vacuum to anyone. I bought the vacuum cleaner last march and right away I started having issues with the product. The belt needed to be replaced just after 4 weeks I also had to unclog the machine frequently. I had to replace the belt again 2 months ago. The brush needs to be cleaned all the time so that it will rotate.

I made 3 calls with my concerns and they kept on giving me advice and sent me out small maintenance items as a courtesy but I had to fix and do the maintenance myself. In August I had a rep. send me out springs, and of course I had to do the repair myself, it took nearly a month to receive the part, and now come to find out today my manufacturers warranty expired at the end of August.

I was also told that I had to go 70 miles round trip to get it serviced by an "authorized warranty center" with no guarantee that I would not be billed since no one knows what is wrong with the product.

Also I was told that I needed to unclog the machine again since I would be charged 50.00 if I brought it in with the filters dirty and the hoses clogged. I would never by Eureka ever again.

I agree. The eureka uno only looks and sounds like it's getting the job done. It is horrible. And it is so difficult to find filters for this thing. I had a dirt devil, worked great for years and way less expensive than this Eureka. Frankly, I am so disappointed in this product. I don't think I will ever purchase another eureka product ever again.. It sucked..
