The vaccum is awful .I have less than 1 year and the motor shuts off after it is on a few minutes. I then have to wait for it to cool down before I can put it on again. And then we start all over again. It is a lemon

Ours, too, shuts down constantly after only a few minutes of use and we have to wait for it to cool down before it will work again...very frustrating, but we can't afford to buy a new one. I wouldn't recommend this unit. :(

Just bought one and love it. I can see why people dont want to empty the canister, but I dont mind at all. Mine never shuts off unless I click the on- off switch. You cant bog this thing down. It cleans bare floors rather than slinging the dirt around like my last vacuum. The only negative is it was a little pricey. Clearance at The Home Depot for $149. Original price $200
