Hoover Self Propelled WindTunnel Bagless Upright

We have had MANY vacuums over the years... expensive ones. I was always faced with the same problem: a stinky vacuum.

I couldn’t figure out what was making the vacuum blast such foul smelling air out it’s “exhaust”. It would fill the entire room with the stench. The vacuum dealer/repairman was baffled.

We lived with the problem for at least 10 years. So Frustrating. One evening, while at Future Shop, I saw the Hoover WindTunnel upright vacuum and bought it on a whim.

Well, we LOVE this vacuum. The foul odour is GONE! The Hepa filter traps the dog dander that was causing the odour, where the other vacuums’ filters were allowing it thru and releasing it into the air.

I’ve also found that the WindTunnel outperforms all of the more expensive vacuums that we owned previously. It has excellent suction, is self-propelled, easy to empty, has a good long cord, a really bright light and really deep-cleans.

The only downfall I would have to say is the weight. It is a heavy vacuum to carry up and down the stairs. It’s probably not as maneuverable as some of the new Dyson type designs, and I wouldn’t recommend using it on bare floors in the upright mode, but it has a full load of attachments and wands just like a canister vacuum.

We've had our Hoover for 3 years now. We've even named her – “Sally”, and she never gets put away. We keep her handy... just in case.

The "Embedded DirtFinder" is my favourite feature. We have 3 dogs and 2 kids who love to run in and out of the house - all day, it seems. With the DirtFinder, I know for sure that I’ve got the job done!
