Hoover U6423-900

We've had the Hoover U6423-900 vacuum cleaner for several years and put it through the paces. It has definitely serve us better than we served it.

Our only egret is the vacuum has been dropped down the stairs and cracked the main housing so now we're shopping for a viable replacement.

I would love to find a new U6423-900 since I know this model and would not be taking a chance on upgrading to a less than adequate replacements, but I guess if Hoover did it right with this model then the next should be as good or even better.

One feature that has always been easy to use is the hose extension option. Everything is perfectly placed for easy access and this thing never plugs no matter what the situation.

Even after taking a terrible fall this vacuum hasn't given up but I suspect the end is coming soon. Thank you Hoover for a great cleaner.

Hoover Wind Tunnel U6425-900
by: Kathy

I have had the Hoover Wind Tunnel U6425-900 vacuum cleaner for 11 years now. I don't remember where we got it but it was offline.

We have carpeting, rugs, hardwood, tile and laminate flooring and the Hoover U6425-900 works well on all those surfaces. It has tools on board so I can do the floors, upholstery, cobwebs etc. all at one time before moving on to the next room which saves steps and time.

We have a dog, cat and a bird. We also have a wood stove and live on a farmette with horses so we get a lot of dirt, leaves, hay and wood debris in the house. This vacuum picks up everything and doesn't clog. I have used Oreck, Eureka boss, Dyson Animal and Kenmore vacuums. I've used uprights, cannister, stick and commercial vacuums and The Hoover Wind Tunnel is the one I have stuck with and have realized it is the only type vacuum I need (which is a good thing since I don't have much storage space!)

I recently decided to get a new vacuum and put my current one upstairs, after researching I decided to get a new Hoover Wind Tunnel. This one has an attachment with a rotating brush that makes cleaning carpeted stairs easy and does a fabulous job getting pet hair off upholstery.

Great Vacuum
by: Anonymous

I bet we have had our Hoover vacuum for 8-10 years and it's still running but it's getting hard to find brush roller belts for. I can find the self propeled belt but not the brush roller belt.
Thanks Hoover this is a great vacuum.
