Hoover Windtunnel Anniversary U8188-900

I bought the Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary (Bagged or Bagless Upright) U8188-900 vacuum cleaner at a great sale price and I would not have bought it at the full retail price since it didn't fit my budget.

So far, I am satisfied with it's superb sucking power, which rivals my old Kirby Heritage. The on/off switch for the roller brushes is handy when using on hard floors when you don't need the brushes spinning.

I have 2 cats that shed a lot and it's sucking power is so good that it pulls hair and dust bunnies on floors from at least 3 inches away from the machine. The pet hair/stair attachment works great.

Some people have reported that the brushes stop spinning with little pressure. I have not found this to be the case at all.

The dust cups are large and easy to empty/change from bagged to bagless. The only cons I have noticed are that the plastic door that houses the tools is a little flimsy and the stretch hose could be longer.

Time will tell on how long the Hoover WindTunnel Anniversary U8188-900 holds up. For the price I paid, if a get 5 years out of it, I will be extremely happy.
