I have an Imperium central vacuum system in my house. There is absolutely no comparison between a traditional vacuum cleaner and a central vacuum system.

My central vacuum system is located in my garage so there is NO dirt or dust exhausted back into my home. I don't have to worry about how much H.E.P.A. filtration my central vacuum has because there is nothing exhausted in the house.

The hose is easy to use and the system is so much more powerful than a regular vacuum. I have had mine for years and have had no problems with it.

Also, most people I talk to don't know they can put one of these in after their house is built, so just about anybody can have a central vacuum system.

The Imperium CV7800 central vac was in my house when we bought it, but my son and both my daughters installed one in their homes after they moved in. They did the installation themselves and said it was not very difficult.
