The convenient headlight, a simple but effective feature that is missing from many of today's vacuum brands, makes hallways and closets a snap to clean. With ten various heights there is not a carpet that can not be effectively cleaned at the appropriate height setting with the Kirby Generation 3 vacuum cleaner.

The long hose attachment is perfect for those long reach cleaning jobs. The two-piece wand extension easily slips into the 11 original attachments.

Not all refurbished models come with the original 11 attachments but it is possible to purchase attachments that fit all the Kirby models to round out the collection. The attachments that are available make cleaning hard to reach areas, high areas, and tight cleaning spaces much easier to make dirt free.

The suction power of the Kirby Generation 3 vacuum combined with wider than average suction tubes give way to easy cleaning that rarely clogs even with larger debris. The extra long power cord adds to the simplicity of cleaning as efficiently as possible. When the carpets are finished it takes only a moment to change the upright into a canister for bare floor and cleaning attachment use.

The Kirby Generation 3 is an excellent value. Despite its age the cleaning power is quite effective and the design is thoroughly thought out for optimum cleaning ability. With the long power cord and the long reach attachment hose and wands the chore of vacuuming is smoother and can be completed with fewer interruptions.

The allergen filtration system is still quite effective at filtering the circulating air and removing pet dander and other allergy triggers. The complete range of carpet height adjustments ensure that each carpeted area receives the most comprehensive cleaning potential available in the Kirby line for a fraction of the cost of a new Kirby. Many Generation 3 models can be found and purchased for around $300.
