Miele CALISTO vacuum

If you own a Miele then my congratulations to you. I am a true believer in you get what you pay for and although the Miele Callisto vacuum was around $800, it was worth every penny.

This machine is superior is every way, the suction is unreal and it is quiet. My wife kept asking me to buy this machine and I could never stomach 800 dollars for a vacuum cleaner, I never spent more than 100 dollars in my life, but I am glad I did.

I do not have very many points to share regarding my experience using the Miele as my wife vacuums, but I can tell you this, since she started using this vacuum our carpets look so much cleaner, even the hardwood in our house looks great.

I went from Hoover uprights - which aren't that bad, aside from the noise - to a Dyson upright - which was messy trouble to clean all the filters on right from the beginning, was noisy, and which stopped sucking at all within a year even with everything inside clean - to a Bissell - which performed better than the Dyson except for Bissell's using a plastic that takes a static charge and results in the vacuum becoming coated with dust on each use, and which has the same need for messy, frequent filter cleaning as the Dyson, and which is loud ... to the Callisto, which by contrast is nearly silent, has much better suction than any of the above and which - in stark contrast to the Dyson - obviously has quality engineering behind it.
