Older Kirby 1972 and G4

Even though they're priced higher, they make up for it in durability and longevity.

The one I purchased in 1972 I had sent back to Kirby for rebuild under their program in 1998. It came back like new. They also had a modification for cleaner bags which I had them install.

The G4 is great. With the drive, it's easy for anyone to push.

Other than normal maintenance and replacing a motor brush once in a great while we've had very little problems.

They sure beat any other vacuum I've ever used. Won't own one of the super duper vacs you see advertised on TV that you buy in a store.
