Panasonic (don't remember the model)

I bought my Panasonic Vacuum Cleaner in the mid-1980's. It was sold in an electronics shop that carried stereos, radios, etc. It was the most fantastic vacuum I've ever owned. It worked tirelessly for 18 years, and I only had it professionally cleaned and tuned up twice.

I own labrador retrievers and they shed 24/7. Their hair sticks to everything. That Panasonic could pick it up off of carpeting (any nap), wood, or tile floors. It was also great at cleaning furniture and vehicles.

I've been told they don't make them any more, so not sure if the present Panasonic brand is the one I purchased for about $400 back then. It was a model with a bag, and well worth the price.

I remember it was burgundy or wine colored and was an upright style. Sure wish I had one like that now. I've never found one to compare.
