Panasonic Vacuum Cleaners

From Ordinary Canister Models To Panasonic Platinum Line

There are three general types of Panasonic vacuum cleaners manufactured: upright, canister and the premium Panasonic Platinum Line vacuum cleaners.
Panasonic is the American and European brand name used by the Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. of Japan, which was founded in 1918.

By 1997, Matsushita achieved cumulative total vacuum cleaner production of seventy million units.

By 2004, this figure increased to one hundred million Panasonic vacuums including commercial models.

Panasonic sells vacuum cleaners across a broad price spectrum and you can purchase cheaper models or the more expensive Platinum models.

However, despite their general overall high quality, as with most things you get what you pay for with Panasonic models.

The features on the various models can vary considerably so it is important to carefully evaluate your specific needs and match them to the features and product quality.

Panasonic Vacuum Cleaners Popular Models

The Panasonic MC-V7720 bagless vacuum cleaner features a three way cleaning system and offers power on demand. This means its suction power can adjust its suction power based on how dirty the surface actually is.

Consequently, it is an energy efficient product which also improves cleaning efficiency because of its flexibility.

It also features HEPA technology, a headlight, edge cleaning, telescopic wand and dirt indicator.

The suction is excellent for pet hair and the fact that the head is flush with the floor makes it very maneuverable so that it can easily get under low set chairs and other furniture pieces.

A potential downside of this model is that it is heavy compared to other models and the filter can take a bit of time to clean.

The MC – V9644 canister Panasonic vacuum cleaner features a "Positive Drive Brush System" which tells you when the floor is clean. This makes cleaning quicker because you know when to stop.

Another important benefit of this model is its triple micron filtering system which helps to keep dust out of the air.

It offers a convenient full bag indicator, four position height adjustment and a headlight. A switch to turn the power-head on and off is located on the handle which is very convenient.

Surprisingly, it is difficult to find reviews on this model. Those that are available are equally for and against. Some say this model has excellent suction, others complain that the suction is appalling.

The Panasonic MC – CG663ZP47 bagged cylinder vacuum has a powerful 2000 watt motor with great suction.

It also features a Cleanstream Gore – Tex HEPA filtration system which makes sure that the smallest dust particles are captured keeping it out of the air and therefore ensuring that less dust settles.

This means that not only the flooring is cleaned but surfaces remain clean longer which reduces the amount of ongoing cleaning required.

There are a range of Performance Plus Platinum vacuum cleaners, however the most expensive and the best of these is the MC – V9658.

This model features a Positive Drive Brush System, a 360 – degree swivel hose system, a special HEPA filtration system, full bag indicator, four position height adjustment and overload protector.

Even if you intend to buy your vacuum online, make sure that you have tested the model elsewhere first. One of the most confusing aspects of purchasing a Panasonic vacuum cleaner is that there are so many different combination of features you can purchase with different models.

You need to make sure that you actually need the features offered and that the qualities you require are present in the vacuum cleaner you have chosen.

Beyond this, the ease of use, the weight, hose and electric cord lengths and the convenience of the design will all impact your final choice. If you purchase a vacuum cleaner just on written facts, without taking the time to trial various vacuum cleaners yourself, you could well be disappointed.

Panasonic offers a wide range of vacuums for you to choose from, however, you do need to do your part in order to choose the best Panasonic vacuum cleaner for you.
