Rainbow E-series

Well the Rainbow IS pretty much a maintenance free machine. We have had ours for 8 years.

The water container seemed like a great idea until you realize that it is absolutely essential to empty that container immediately after using it!

The smell from the water (add dog hair to that) is unbelievable if you let it sit for only a short period of time!

Yes I know there are solutions to buy to add to the water and we use those. But the Rainbow is not good for "quick run throughs".

You have to have the "today I vacuum the house" mentality. And if you think a teenager is going to empty that water canister, think again. If they manage to empty it in the toilet, it splatters everywhere.

I am searching for a new vacuum with more suction power. It is OK with my Rainbow but I will never again pay the price for a vacuum cleaner that I paid for the Rainbow!

No matter how many bells and whistles a vacuum cleaner has, SOMEONE still has to push it to be effective!
