The Rainbow SE is the absolute best darn vacuum you could buy. Takes no bags, absolutely no dust to deal with on clean-up.

Uses only water, like a half gallon and the water in the tank actually traps all the dust, dirt and other foreign and not so foreign particles.

My mother in law bought it about 15 years ago, used it for awhile and when we got a house, she kindly passed it over to us as a kind of house-warming gift.

Subsequently she has passed away, but not the Rainbow. You'd think being it's built out of "plastic"... that we should have some issues with
it, but we love it. It does all our heavy duty clean up around the house, including sofas, a/c vents, under beds you name it.

We have some light duty jobs too for the everyday stuff as the Rainbow's a bit cumbersome to drag out for the daily, but when you want real clean-up, just holler out "Rainbow Man" give him a drink of water and the powerful motor goes to work.

We use it even in reverse to blow out the air conditioner's condensation removal piping from the inside air handling unit, it happily pushes out all kinds of gunk so that the condense line won't back up.

This thing costs over a $1000 but considering how many years worth of dependable service it gives, I would say it's worth it.ž

Negative point might be if one is too lazy or forgetful to empty out the watery waste, it will start to smell like a sewer pipe in a few days, goes to show how much cleaning power this puppy really has.
