I purchased a Rainbow approximately 10 years ago and paid a fortune (friendly financing available) for it.

Although it did clean well, it was a real pain to always have to fill the canister with water then rinse it out every time I used it. It was also a pain to try to drag the canister around with me when I cleaned.

Sometimes it would get caught on the leg of a table or something else and tip over. It would also beat up my furniture when it would run into things. It came with a rug shampooer also but I never used it because it appeared to be a pain to use as well.

Eventually, I began to dread having to vacuum. I work full time and need something that is quick and easy to use and this vacuum was anything but.

I know some people think they are great and for what you have to pay for them, it's probably easier to live with yourself by telling yourself you made a wise purchase but I would never purchase another one.
