Shark Cordless V1917SI rechargeable vac

The Shark cordless worked ok as an in-between real vacuum cleaning for area rugs and tile, but the rechargeable battery barely held out a year.
I ordered a new one by email since you have to order them directly from Europro, but the website was confusing. It doesn't give you amounts at the time of order and it was unclear if the order was complete. When I called them the language barrier was a real problem and the confirmation they sent ultimately listed an address not even close to mine.
I emailed their customer service and asked them to follow up to make sure they had the correct address. A month later and several emails, including one asking me to call the order line again, we are no closer to solving the problem. I found them to be a very frustrating company that offers poor customer service.
The Shark cordless vacuum just isn't worth the price for one year of use to me, and they don't seem to make replaceable battery packs available. Apparently, Shark considers it a disposable product. It didn't have enough suction to serve as the only vacuum for the house, so I'll give up on the quickie vacuums.
