Shark EP722

I am furious with this company and with the Shark EP722 vacuum. I have been trying to get a replacement HEPA filter/debris screen for a full year and have been lied to and received a runaround.

EuroPro took my order, but they never shipped it. The customer service line goes to South Asia and they told me that there was an error with the order and they will reprocess it, but it never goes through because they don't actually have any filters.

I got the number for their headquarters in Canada and two people were supposed to call me back with a date that they would ship me one, but they never did.

I finally got another postcard from Europro that says that it wil be 3 - 4 weeks, but that's the same as the postcard I received a couple of months ago.

I've had it and will never buy another Shark !!!!... goodbye Shark and welcome to my garbage can. Recommend Shark .... what do you think?

I ordered this vacuum because it seemed to be the right size for me. I am a bit over 60 and have very bad arthritis in both hands. It is easy to manuever around, pick up (love the built in handle) and comes with lots of accessories. I am in need of another filter, so hopefully I won't have a problem. However, I would certainly give this vac a five star rating. I have tried MANY uprights and they are bulky, heavy, don't get the corners and hate trying to do stairs with them. The Shark Power Pet is so easy and picks up my cat and my peke's hair from the rugs as well as the floor. Awesome buy...

You think that was hard? Try to get a replacement belt for the"air driven turbo brush". You would think that such a popular model as the EP722 would have a wealth of spare parts, especially the belts, but noooooooo. Euro pro offered to sell me a new turbo brush for 29.95 plus shipping. What a deal! This vacuum is basically useless to me now since we need the turbo brush to pick up the dog hair.

I just submitted an order for my Roadster on totalvac.com.

I also had a problem with Shark- took months for them to honor my purchase, I'm hoping this works out much better.

My shark roadster is a GREAT vac. I haven't tried any newer models, but if you see an old one and can still get the filter- snatch it up, they are great & powerful machines. 4 Starts for my roadster. :-)
