Shark EP754C canister vacuum

I bought a Shark EP754C canister vacuum cleaner one year ago Feb 2009. I purchased this brand because the warranty had such great reviews.

In February 2010 my power nozzle broke. I tried many times to contact Shark's Customer Service. I got the run around every time.

Finally, when I finally got the opportunity to speak to someone, I was told that the power nozzle wasn't covered. I now had to purchase a new one!

I can honestly say after spending $300.00 on a vacuum that is now totally useless to us I will never buy another Shark product! Shark is a rip off company!

We purchased the EP-754C and it worked for about 3 months then the power head ran intermittently.
Finally started to smoke from the swivel on the hose. I think this product is unsafe and would not recommend anyone waste their money on this piece of junk!!!!

I picked up a Shark EP754C at a moving sale for a great price just to have as a second vacuum cleaner. This is now my primary vacuum cleaner! It has so much more power than my other vacuum cleaner and the swivel cleaning head makes it really easy to clean under furniture, etc. I have some other Shark Euro-Pro products that I have been extremely oleased with but never knew that they also made vacuum cleaners. I was really lucky to have found this vacuum at a moving sale! I love using this machine.

The customer service is SO POOR- a call center experience from hell. The rep kept repeating herself no matter what the question was (guess that it wasn't covered in her script). Spent 40 minutes to no avail. At last spoke to a supervisor who ordered the part I wanted and then I was told that it was on back order with no expected delivery date. I will NEVER buy a Shark product again.

we purchased the shark vacuum on line. about 6 months after we purchased it, started having problems with it. called the 1-800- number. first got someone on the phone who didnt speak or under english too well. kept asking me the same questions over and over again. i asked to speak to a supervisor, there was a moment of silence on then the so called spervisor came on the line, it was the same person who i spoke with. never again will i purchase a vacuum from this company. you need to put people in there who can understand english. i will go to dyson, they do speak english.i went to a local repair shop to find out that shark is made with cheap plastic that breaks, also you can not remove the brushes. whats up.
