Shark Infinity NV31 Pet Care System

by Jen Patro
(Boulder, CO)

I have been relatively pleased with my Shark Infinity NV31 vac for the past 1 1/2.

However, I now have a clog that I cannot fix and their customer service is awful!!!!!!!

Beware, I spent 70 minutes on the phone with them, 50 minutes on hold and the other 20 minutes trying to get them to understand my problem (in which I was not successful).

The final decision is I have to pay to have the vac shipped back to them so they can repair it, also a cost I shouldn't be responsible for (my cell phone bill for talking to them for 70 minutes should be enough).

Bottom line good vacuum, but horrible customer service, WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN!

Shark NV31 Vacuum Cleaner
by: Ron

This is the last Shark/Euro Pro product I will buy. I purchased the my Shark NV31 vacuum cleaner in 2006.

What they call the debris screen locks in place by twisting it into the Dust Cup. The tabs have worn away and debris screen no longer locks in place. Which makes the vacuum useless with out jury rigging it.

The web page mentioned in the manual does not have any replacement parts other than filters and belts. In 2006 the vacuum cost $250 which I am pretty much out of. On the subject of replacement belts, yes 2 belts.

They changed belts somehow during production and you have to be aware of when your unit was produced in order to purchase the correct belt set.

As I said, this was the last Shark/Euro Pro product I will buy.

Customer service stinks
by: Jeff in PA.

The 1-888-668-9600 connects you to their custmer line in Asia. Needed a telescopic wand for our NV31 Model. Long story short we are now going on 5 weeks and the problem is not solved. I am now waiting over a week for the return tags for the wrong parts I kept being sent. THeir customer service is terrible.Their very polite, but terible. Due to this issue I will not be buying another Infinity Product.

I will say the vacuum did perform well until the wand broke. Customer service is very important after the purchase. Infinity Shark drops the ball after the sale.

Does anyone have the contact information (website, phone number, anything) so I can call customer service on this vacuum? I have a clog or something that I cannot figure out. I have taken it apart 4 times now and still cannot find a clog or anything. Thanks!

Manual does not Match
by: Dutch

I am trying to clear a blockage. I called the customer service. They sent me a manual after wasting 10 minutes reading from their script. The manual should be for this model but it the pictures do not match in the manual.

I have disassembled it but I cannot figure out how to remove the access port cover. It shows two screws in the manual but there are none on the machine.

I do not want to waste another call to Bombay Call center. Any ideas or suggestions????????

Infinity Shark
by: John from Boston

I've had the infinity shark for about 3 years. It has worked okay for the most part. Definitely not worth the original $300! The problem now is after the origianl paperwork has been discarded, try to find customer service! No direct website, no toll free number listed, nothing!! The telescoping handle has recently broke and I need parts. I think it's time to scrap it out and buy a Hoover!
