Vacuum Cleaners with Water Filters
Excellent cleaning but one disadvantage....

Vacuum cleaners with water filters are becoming popular these days.

With innovative features, these vacuums have provided new definition to water filters.

They are primarily machines which use water as a cleansing agent.

A vacuum cleaner with water filter uses water in the tank as pressure agent in removing the dust and dirt from the surface.

The water performs the major role in sucking up the dirt and makes it settle down in the bag.

The machine not only removes the dirt but also the bacteria and germs along with the bad smell and odor.

Previously, some brands of vacuum cleaners on the market used water to trap dust particles instead of a proper government certified HEPA filter. But, these water vacuum cleaners are found to be inefficient, heavy and bulky. Now some of these companies have added a replaceable HEPA filter into the exhaust side of their water vacuums.

Vacuum cleaners with water filters have one disadvantage though; they are very bulky. They are not very easy to use and maneuver and due to their bulky nature, they are cumbersome to carry and store.

Some of the recommended vacuum cleaners with water filters are:

1. Karcher DS5500 Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaner

The DS 5500 from Karcher captures 99.99% of all particles including 1/100th the width of a human hair and larger. This also includes allergens such as pollen, fungus spores, dust mires, fine dust and bacteria.

When vacuuming with the Karcher DS 5500, the dust-laden air goes through the water filter, where almost all of the dust particles are reliably removed. The air then flows through the washable, long-life auxiliary filter which retains any remaining minute airborne particles.

Next comes the HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter, which retains particles down to 0.3 µm. It thus provides a protective screen against mites, pollen, spores and fungi.

There are no bags to replace, but you need to fill the water bath with 2 liters of water and empty when finished. It provides four Stage filtration system with a water bath, an auxiliary filter, a HEPA Plus filter and an exhaust filter. It also has an attachable upholestery tool for cleaning the furniture.

2. Aroma Water Filtration Vacuum Cleaner AVC-2001

This model is specially designed to have a detachable main Motor-Module completely separate from the water tank.

It is easy to assemble for quick operation and easy to dismantle for convenient cleaning.

The water filtration system retains nearly 100% of dust.

It has Variable power controller and Jumbo water tank which increases cleaning capacity up to 5 liters.

It is highly powerful and durable with 1,299W motor. It has additional wet pick-up function Flex-hose.

On-board tools include Crevice brush and upholstery brush. It has removable filter device (HEPA filter is optional) to produce fresh air.

3. Shark CW240 Bagless Water Filtration Vac

The Shark Bagless Water Filtration Vacuum cleaner uses a revolutionary new technology where the natural filtering power of ordinary tap water cleans the home. It can be used for clearing the wet spill and cleaning the hard surface and turbo carpet.

Using the natural filtration power of water, the machine acts as a turbo suction dry vac, stain extractor and wet vacuum. With only 6 cups of water, the powerful machine cyclonically filters and traps dirt from bare floors and carpets, and even sucks up standing liquids. After the completion, the canister can be emptied into the toilet to flush away the mess.

Features include variable suction controls, an air-driven turbo brush, hard surface brush, 3 extension tubes, deluxe hose, caddy with on-board tool storage and caster wheels. There are no bags. The cyclonic spinning action of ordinary tap water traps dirt without ever blocking air flow.

4. H20 Water Filtration Vacuum Cleaner

This vacuum cleaner uses the purification power of water and revolutionary filtration technology to clean the air and the home. The filtration system traps the dirt in a pool of water preventing it from circulating back into the air resulting in cleaner air, floors and carpets in your home.

It has deep cleaning capabilities. It is versatile and can move from carpet to wooden floors effortlessly and deal with wet and dry spills on practically any surface, at the same time. It is lightweight and has portable design for easy manoeuvring. It also has tool for cleaning around furniture with ease and telescopic handle for cleaning areas that cannot be reached easily.

There are no bags to change or replace, but water must be added to get continuous cleaning power. On-board tools include crevice tool, upholestery brush, nonwoven storage bag and floor squeegee.

Vacuum cleaners with water filters are certainly something to look into. They clean extremely well and there are no bags to replace – just flush the water out. They have their advantages and disadvantages so choose wisely
