What is the best type of vacuum cleaner for berber carpets?

by Anne

I have a Hoover upright vacuum cleaner, but just recently had berber carpeting installed.

I understand that cleaning berber carpeting is best with a vacuum cleaner that has a suction only option. Is this true?

VacuumWizard replies...

Yes, that's true. You only need to look for suction-only vacuum cleaning machines, if you don't like the loops of your carpet to look fuzzled up.

You should also stay away from those with very aggressive revolving brush, or else, you will also create more damage to your high-quality carpet.

It's always best to ask the manufacturer or the store where you've purchased your carpet the best kind of vacuum cleaning machine to use.

A good buy will be Panasonic MC-4620 Bagless Canister Vacuum. This is actually a no-frills vacuum cleaner, and that's why it's well loved by a lot of home owners.

You only need to make use of lesser tools, and is also very cheap. You can even buy it below $100. It doesn't have any brush roll, so it can also be good to your bare floors.
