What vacuum cleaner do you recommend for residential and commercial use for a cleaning company?

by Cinderella's Cleaning
(CT)

We are looking for vacuums that will be used in our cleaning service in both residential and commercial cleaning. 1 or 2 styles are needed for carpet and non carpeted flooring.

We like bagged vacuums, because they are quick and easy to change. We also need something durable that is going to last. Hepa would also be good to include as well.

Commercial Vacuum Cleaners
by: Chris from GoVacuum

We carry a large selection of commercial grade vacuum cleaners on our site. We offer commercial vacuums ranging in price from $150 up to over $1300.00.

For your particular needs however, I would recommend one of the best reviewed vacuum cleaners on our site period, commercial as well as residential.

The Smart Choice Carpet Pro Commercial Vacuum CPU-2 is an excellent quality commercial vacuum cleaner. Carpet Pro also makes a similar model which is the Smart Choice Carpet Pro CPU-2T which is the exact same model except the T at the end indicates the vacuum has on-board cleaning attachments.

Both models are bagged systems, and also have a HEPA type exhaust filter to help capture the dust on the way out of the vacuum. One nice feature on the Carpet Pro vacuums is the cost of replacement filters. The filters on the CPU-2, and CPU-2T are less expensive then most other HEPA filters.

The machine uses a standard paper bag that can be removed and thrown away, or it can also be equipped with a Reusable Cloth Shakeout Bag which gives you the benefits of having a bagged vacuum, with the convenience, and cost savings of a bagless vacuum.

The Carpet Pro vacuums have many metal components where other models use plastic. These metal parts are part of the reason these vacuums are so durable, even under the most strenuous commercial applications.

Some of the metal components that are on the Carpet Pro's include; All metal motors, roller brushes, bottom plates, and handles. The metal rollers are really the nicest roller brushes in the vacuum industry.

After several years of usage, when the bristles on the brushes wear down, instead of having to replace the entire roller brush assembly like most manufacturers require you to do, on the Carpet Pro's, simply slide the brush strips out of the roller brushes, and simply replace just the strips.

In terms of cleaning bare floors, you can even use this same upright to do your bare floors & stairs! Most uprights don't clean bare floors very well at all, canisters usually do a much better job on bare floors.

You may purchase a Deluxe Attachment Set for the Carpet Pro vacuums that gives you a 15ft extension hose, two wands, and a bare floor brush. At this point you've converted your upright Carpet Pro into a canister style vacuum, which makes cleaning bare floors a breeze!

Also this extra long hose allows you to leave the vacuum at the bottom of a staircase, and vacuum the entire flight of steps without even having to move the vacuum cleaner!

I hope this helped you!
